Stubbers have no good blessings
Blaze Away? Doesn't even reach full stacks after a mag dump.

Overwhelming Fire? Pitiful damage boost that doesn't even work properly, takes a massive amount of bullets before you get stacks rather than just 5-6 like you'd expect from the description.

Deathspitter? Very minor damage boost, close to being good but not quite.

Inspiring Barrage? Does absolutely nothing, and even when it works it's so weak you might as well not even have it.

Roaring Advance? Wow golly literally single digit percentage numbers movement speed when firing, can't even tell a difference with rank IV.

Ceaseless Barrage? Useless, does nothing.

Charmed Reload? Fine I guess, not really good but might extend your mag by a few rounds if you're very lucky.


Sure all weapons have a bunch of blessings that do nothing other than waste your time and resources, but not even a single good one? Damn that's harsh thiccfish.

Ah.. Inspiring barrage is pretty cool if you have to take on a wall of shooters.
Mk4 stubber is the best ranged for ogryn hands down
Ogryn weapons in general have very few good blessings, some (such as the power maul) have zero good blessings. And brutal momentum is one of the few okay-ish ones, but it barely even works. It hardly ever procs for some reason. Why can't the clubs get power bonuses beyond thrust? Why can't clubs get brutal momentum? or headtaker, or savage sweep, etc?
The blessings ogryn has access too are just too few and too boring tbh. Kickback wouldn't be such a meme if it had access to the combat shotgun blessings, or at least some of them.

I believe you are mostly wrong. In every possible way. Ogryn have acces to Confident Strike, one of the strongest sustain blessing in the game you want on virtually every melee Weapon. Power Maul is lacking, yes, but Skullcrusher is very good to spread around. Brutal momentum sucks ass on every Ogryn weapon that can use it due to Cleave DMG Target Limit being capped at 3. Kickback isn't a meme weapon for a longer bit now after the buffs and is both pefectly usable on Damnation and have some solid blessings to play with (Expansive, Full Bore, Blaze Away). Clubs have very decent Haymaker to improve their hording. Bull Butcher has Slaughterer, of course, to make it absolutely OP.

As for the topic - Deathspitter is better than expected; It's a very easy to get and maintain bonus damage, and getting +30% power isn't something to scoff at, that gives a plenty of BPSs over many targets in many situations, shaving down key mobs in dense hordes no problem. Charmed is also decent and you can always think of it as just mag extension. Other are kinda meh atm, but also it has to be said that Stubbers - especially Gorgon - doesn't need anything to shine and will perform admirably even Grey.
Well if you want to run Charmed you have to run crit chance because it has a crit rate of -3 instead of the usual +0 so you only have 2% crit with it normally. Aka it almost never procs, unless you have crit 4-5%, at which point you can always shoot your reserves down to nothing no reloading. It doesn't seem to actually need to hit anything for Charmed to proc.

But Stubbers suck on Flak, and probably want one of Maniac or Unyielding depending on your melee choice. So I don't really think its that great, especially considering how much damage you already have access to.

So yeah they do suck because it's just Deathspitter and a potentially fun dakka blessing. And 3 that don't work because they all require you to dump all your ammo or for an enemy to survive 12 hits from these weapons without some trash walking in between (overwhelming fire). Per stack...

My point was that ogryn has very few good weapon blessings. I was not saying that ogryn has no good weapon blessings. I mostly agree with the ranged blessings you've mentioned. Although expansive on the kickback isn't practical. While it does carry over to mainhand dmg, it's only good for 2-3 hits with the added inconvenience of leaving your ranged empty. I wasn't implying kickback isn't usable in DN. I use it there often, but mostly just for laughs. Certainly not for efficiency.
The ranged weapons aren't really the problem though. For melee blessings, we got confident strike, skullcrusher(iffy), slaughterer, thrust, and haymaker. I'll even throw in a freebie and say I've had some fun with a smackdown mk3 club with a slap rotation.

I'm not implying that everything not on this short list is outright bad or unusable. They're just unremarkable in an already small choice of weapons, in an already small choice of blessings. My point is that all the other weapons on all the other characters have a much broader range of focus points in building weapons. Ogryn gets to choose from impact, brittlness, special function powerups, chargetime heavies, or toughness sustain (excluding cleavers which get slaughterer).

I just wish ogryn had more options, mostly.

Charmed bullet with +5% crit chance bets you a total of 300-400 crits per game since the stubber crits are 3 shots.

Yes that’s what rifles are good for, point blank.

But yeah subbers have nothing good especially compared to the auto pistol that literally have blessings that support certain ways of playing. It’s stupid

lol have a look at the kick back blessings before crying about the stubber.
There are weapons for every class with bad blessings, such as the crusher club for zealot which basically only has +impact modifiers when stagger is the one thing the weapon doesn't need more of. Ogryn does seem to have it the worst overall when it comes to good blessings tho. Like how often are you going to get a critical headshot kill for a few toughness with the grenade gauntlet?
