Vermintide & Darktide GW Promo Miniatures
Just struck me that james workshop seems to do VERY little cross-promotion with their licenced video games. Maybe they'll run a few pages in white dwarf, and sure they have a Titus miniature now, from spes marine 2, but it took them until the sequel to figure that out. Should've been doing that since the first space marine. What, was it too hard to whip up a promotional boxed set of ~5ish minis depicting the major characters from the game? Would've made a fantastic addition to any 40K collection.

Same with darktide and same with vermintide, why are there not miniatures of the characters from that game? Truly bizarre. Make sets of the damned things for every set of five careers. Even if WHF collectors don't care about vermintide they would've been highly collectible and unique sculpts that could've been at home in any number of armies or skirmish warbands or whatever. Sell them as warbands for "warcry" or "warhammer underworlds" or whatever is the current thing that's more appropriate.

For darktide, have a boxed set of the 4-5 characters from the promos + perhaps some of the NPCs like rannick or hadron, and you win. They could've even been worked in as an addition to the kill team roster, as inquisitorial henchmen.

Literally have the same promotional miniatures for the more high profile licenced games as they do for their black library novels. The missed opportunities boggle the mind.

they did do a slight cross over, but this is mainly release of the Codexs and the Models. such as Jump pack primaris, i would say that the ethier the model came first before titus or it the other way round. but still, for Darktide they almost got the Timing of the Release date and the Codex for the guard they were off by a week. but the primary reason why is beacuse the Models is generally Kept sepreately from everything else in terms of Game's wise, as if people had Tabletop Models of the Characters then were looking at your SGt marrow with a toughness of 6, with a 4+ sv and a 4+ +, along with a relic weaponary and can issue 2 orders for a Unit, while hadron would be a Modfied Dominus Tech-priest with a Relic weapon of her order and ability to Bless a Unit for something like Twin link or Devestating Wounds. the expection to this rule is really Blood ravens. but the Chapters made from FFG Deathwatch them being the Storm Wardens Don't Count as a Chapter. and it is Unknown if te Cellaxis sector is a Place or not, due to it being dan abbentts and FFA Playsystem.
