Some people think that's fun.
Auric missions are also available only for level 30 characters, which is another feature people have been asking for a long time, to separate the endgame from beginner players.
"The planet Auric is the first planet in the Amarah system. During the early stage of the Battle of Amarah, due to massive flux sprang into being near the Amarah star, the plasma and radiation were violently ejected into space in a series of massive solar flares. The fury of the injured star was so tremendous that it reached the planet Auric and flash-incinerated everything on its day-side in an instant."
"Auric just means "golden", so it's probably just a way of saying the most trusted / high level Inquisitorial agents"
Basically Auric is referring elite level operatives that far surpass anyone else in their class category.
The sun was shining in my room on "no light" and it was almost impossible to see the enemies on the screen
I mostly do quick play so i dont realize what im getting myself into...
They made Auric & Maelstrom missions for the people interested in a challenging endgame, as opposed to several weekends in a row with nothing but low-intensity and low-light garbage. :>
