The Chaos Spawn can be avoided pretty easily, but it does take 1 player out at times as they've got to defend, the other 3 pile onto it, then it changes target and a new player defends. If it grabs someone, move into melee, it won't bite them to regen, but instead swing the grapped player like a weapon, which you can dodge - then it will throw them and the process begins again.
so.... git gud? :)
Chaos Spawn appears at the worst possible time and does more disruption than PO or BoN ever could. It's like a nerfed DH. Sure, you can block and avoid a lot of damage, and it stunning a player is fine and all-- but the primary issue is that the boss feels like it is sloppily spawned in.
PO and BoN are pathetically easy, unfortunately, and aren't all that memorable so the sloppy boss spawning is somewhat okay with them, but Chaos Spawn is just extremely obnoxious.
Personally I think there should be another class of enemies standing between bosses and elites... A place where "that boss with plasma pistol" or others such maybe a "Heavy Boltgun dotation" that gets deployed on certain area, or even something like a sentinel could be sitting... some that could get spawned more than a single time but not on an absurd amount.
Instead the game spawns massive amounts of specials and pretends to cover that gap this way... but then you see all the problems of the game... like infantry clipping through ogryns, the net problems and hit reg, random moments where even a single scab shooter can break your whole toughness on a quarter of a second.. etc...
For me the problem with the Bosses is that they are mostly a giant bullet sponge... that may ruin your run on the wrong time, but I actually think the problems on such situation are the others stated... I would love to see those problems solved and get redesigned the bosses to be less bullet sponge but harder to fight (them requiring better timing to avoid more critical damage)... yet I cannot imagine that treatment for them with the state of the game.
If you or someone get grabbed, just 1 teammate walk up so that instead of eating you, he uses you to slam the other person away who only takes toughness damage.
Gives more value to stamina curios.
This game is not worth getting good at so.
So, no?
As the Chaos Spawn was literally copy pasted from that game, the guide works without a problem.
