Fatshark account name creation not possible

After a longer break I wanted to see if changes happened.
I am now asked to enter a fatshark account name which was not a thing so far to me.
And whatever variations I enter turned out to be quite unspecific not working(Name inappropriate or not available).
Since when is this mandatory to do?
And for what is it being used?
Cross plattfrom crap?

Went around it after typing in some stupid name most people would not choose I guess.
All the nice 40k names I tried including absurd variations of them were unavailable

For what its worth it took me several minutes to get a name approved because there is no BASIC FEATURE of having a suggestion pop up instead of wasting your time trying to guess what is available.

It also doesnt help that it DOES NOT differentiate between what isnt available and what isnt appropriate. Whatever that means. More on that later.

In the end after several frustrating minutes of having basic name after basic name denied, complex name after complex name denied my name was finally approved....Though I thought it would be denied and I was just being cheeky....

Im not even joking and truly I feel blessed.

Yeah, after trying smart/good fitting 40k names I gave up frustrated and typed out of anger a pretty silly name in- worked.
