What is the least useful blessing for a weapon?
I'll start: "Reassuringly Accurate" on the grenadier gauntlet. You'd be better off getting "Glory Hunter" if you really need the toughness regen unless you have a decent crit rate.

To be honest, pretty much all of the blessings on the autoguns. There’s probably a few decent ones but almost all of them, at the very least are pretty boring and not as helpful.

Surge on a Trauma staff :steamsad:

that's a tough call

a lot of them do pretty close to nothing

i'm gonna have to say my vote is for "surgical" because the way it works means you have to hold ADS without shooting for 3 seconds before it even starts to build up +critical hit stacks. Then you have to wait 2-3 seconds more to max it out, and finally the first time you shoot it uses up all those stacks, even if it doesn't score a critical hit.

so in summary it does absolutely nothing unless you only shoot once every 5-6 seconds and even then you only get a +25% chance to crit with a T4 blessing.

I thought so too, but fire-frenzy is actually quite good. It stacks up to 5 times and refreshes the duration with each additional kill, which makes it far better than the description suggests.

Deathspitter sounds almost the same except

1. it gives less power
2. it has a shorter duration
3. it doesn't stack

which makes me scratch my head and wonder

why on earth would they make two blessings that are so similar except they made one of them worse in every single possible way?

Run 'N' Gun. Easy. Especially on a lot of the weapons that it can show up on if you try to fire while sprinting you might as well spin out your mouse before firing and you'll have the same changes of hitting something.

Ooh forgot that one because it is so useless. Run'n'Gun takes my money as the most useless

HOWEVER

I would like to add a lot of the "Dodge" skills seem fairly useless since I never dodge anyway. "Rending or Crit Chance for 2 seconds after successful dodge" bruh rlly? 2 seconds?

I think I have one on a gun that says "Immune for .6 seconds after a kill" BRUH!! THAT'S NOT EVEN 1 SECOND WTF!! holy hell all these blessings are horrible

Inspiring Barrage, worst T4 blessing

Run and gun is literally useless. Hooray, you get to sprint while shooting, while sprinting gets instacanceled by a stray fart blown in the wind.

Most blessings are either totally pointless or hilariously outclassed by other options. Here, have 12% extra damage to enemies in piss range from the target that only works when you invade their personal space to shoot them. While in the meantime there is Blazing away which equates to practically just 50% more damage AND stagger after 2 seconds of firing.

Also a lot of super niche blessings like "slide to reload faster" with ABYSMAL numbers on them for some reason. It's already a super oddball blessing as is - better dunk it into the pit further by making it reload a measly 12% faster too.

Fatshark hasn't got the balance down quite yet so far. Read: nowhere even near.

Actually, I kind of like speedload ever since they bumped it up to +20% at T4.

At least... it's better than almost every alternative on an autogun.

Riposte gives +15% crit chance for 2 seconds after dodge and is actually really good on a knife

i mean, you are gonna be dodging at least every 2 seconds in melee with a knife anyway

Precognition which gives +10% weakspot/crit damage is really bad though, because at best it ends up adding like 10 damage on a 150-200 damage crit

heh

on an auto-pistol it gives +50% toughness regen speed x 5 stacks

this is the equivalent of 8.33 curio perks

The problem is that the toughness regen stops if you get hit

Try it on the Purgatus staff, you'll love it if you play aggressivelly.

I guess to those who dodge it is great but on Psyker I'll just guard/push/hit/repeat. I don't ever use the dodge button unless I'm trying to sidestep a sniper

Every time I get a "dodge" thing on any weapon it is automatically junk for me

The autoguns have horrible blessings altogether as far as I'm concerned. A lot of them feel like genuine traps too; like the blessing that makes you immune to ranged fire upon a close range kill.

As far as the blessing goes I agree it's a """"good"""" one, but only due to being less awful than the others. It could legit be 50% faster reload during sliding and it would still be nowhere near as strong as Blazing Away is currently.
Ultra Mar 12, 2023 @ 9:34pm
the one that increases reloading speed after sliding or anything that increases speed in general xD
