Achyls Axe is best axe

Thanks to quickswitching this axe has objectively the highest dps of all the axes. It also has great burst dmg. Its also pretty fast. If youre using another axe, youre probably doing it wrong.

Its actually kinda bonkers that the devs would make an obviously best axe, although considering the rest of the game, maybe its not that shocking...

Tac axe 4 or 7 are better.

The attack speed is especially poor on non Zealots. Can really make you regret using one. Tac axe is always nice to use

It is good to see that tastes are different, because I prefer the Antrax V, maybe just because I love both blessings and have a good base. Do you also have good blessing and a base?

Quickswitching? Is it especially fast or something? Combat Axe V is hardly slow either.

Anyway, considering weapon switching randomly bugs out 10x in a row when the going gets tough, thanks to the server sync issues, it's hardly reliable. :c

All I remember from Achlys and Atrox was that they were weird slow and just had a worse moveset than Antax.

Achlys has lame moveset (the wide right side swing is supposed to hit all targets, but it hits only the first one) and has no cleave

Antax is best axe (with brutal momentum ofc)

Antrax V numbers don't lie all the benefits of the other Axes plus cleave.....hands down the best

you have to remember that not only does quickswitching boost attackspeed, it also resets the attack pattern meaning with limbsplitter blessing you just get free +damage% (which is active at all times), with no penalty.

can reliably oneshot all trash mob and all common mob on damnation even without god tier stats(you'll need some stats tho). you can take out an entire roaming band of shooters solo, it is so free. charge into them, because they all start bunched up they all go into melee. From there just line up headshots, which is super easy with this moveset. I dont see any other zealot weapon combo make so much space so quickly.

I see a few people mention cleave... why? lmao. trash mob? who is getting wiped from trash mob? Is this a priority? Is a better axe against trash mob going to even come close to what other classes can do? Every other class is way better against trash mob. Is a better axe against trash mob going to even come close to what other zealot weapons can do? Axe is one of the worst weapons against trash mob. why would you focus on cleave when youve already handicapped yourself by going axe. Just use a sword with those same blessings.

I guess if you wanted a balanced axe you could go for cleave, but like just play vet if you want to play this balanced approach. yall playing the wrong class.

Achlys is just too slow.
As a non-Zealot would rather use Antax, Activate Swords, Duelling Sword and even a Combat Blade. Even if I am a Zealot I would rather use Thunder Hammer and Heavy Swords only.

Plus wouldn't want the extra effort of quick swapping everytime to do major quick DPS, especially given my fingers are slowly giving out.

So Achlys maybe the best for DPS with the extra steps but Antax will always be the best for reliability, ease of use and speed and there is got to be something wrong with you if you don't think that's the case.

are you sure its server sync issues?

cleave allows you to finally utilize Punishment feat. Meaning that if you're in a crowd, you will drop elites on their asses and will throw specialists around plus you won't be staggered
