True private lobbies when?
Why do i need to be in a strike team to play in a private lobby? Why isn't the system the same as V2 where i can host my own private games? Games been out for how long now and we still don't have even basic features like that?

Not happening. The servers will go down before FS gives up full control to players.

Why people don't get the idea behind the whole lobby system... If you see other people it means you see the skin it means maybe you get wet and buy some ( There are more than enough who would do it and do)

So I believe for a very long time we don't see real private server... or even v2 bots..

Because this is immeasurably complex and impossible.
The devs are chilling atm until spring break, then they're off on holiday again.

Because developers don't want 2000 singleplayer lobbies hogging space where 8000 people could play, they are making sure to minimize amount of people who play "solo" until they can finish localhost like Prologue was, so all the server burden gets dropped back on you and prevent 1 person from using 4 player spaces in their servers, resulting in having to upkeep way more server space despite miniscule amount of players playing.

Can't blame Dedicated Servers on Fatshark either, it was the most popular player request since first Vermintide.

1. You always connect to server like in MMO. Not gonna happen.
2. You must see prem cosmetics on other people, it is being marketed to you.

It is not mistakes, it is made like this by design of glorius overlords from Tencent. Who know a lot about mobile monetization.

OP's idea go against whole idea of Store with game around it. You can not play in "live service" and be disconected from BS.

They actually said there will be localhost singleplayer, it's not ready due to horrible teammate AI. But one thing you got right, you are still going to need internet connection to play, Darktide was clear about it from day 1: "this is online-only game, internet connection is mandatory."

They've been toying with the community about private servers since Vermintide 1. They deformed that request and monkeypawed it in the dedicated server EGS virtual potato nonsense you have now.

well in fakt...ai isent so bad(if you go slow and pull smart) was try for fun T3 and only bots was do 50% of map befor humans join and was have 0 problems, sometimes ai supriese me even...
they chose to put peopel up befor random fight...there are human ki more stupid...

but most of time i play T4-T5 there the ai is leg of strategie if they hit 3 agains bollwerk shild XD
but still..was see smarter acting ai than human..

Last time I read about that it wasnt AI being the problem. Rather the poor performance of the game and the aditionnal hit on it with hosting locally.

They also confirmed their test versions are already running locally, the feature is just removed down the line. It's just that it's immeasurably complex to not remove the thing.

We hope you’re enjoying your time in Tertium during the Pre-Order beta. We’ve been thrilled to see your excitement and reactions to Darktide. We’ve been hard at work gathering your feedback and bug reports while working on future patches to update stability & performance, balance adjustments, and squash out the bugs. That said, we’d like to take time to address a recurring couple of questions with you.

With Darktide, we set to work on a much-requested feature from the previous tide games: Dedicated Servers. We put considerable effort into engineering new technologies that would allow us to run dedicated servers at scale and run the huge hordes of our “Tide” games you have come to know and love. Dedicated Servers were a priority for us, and due to the Network Scale Test and Closed Beta, we were able to fully battle-test our dedicated servers (a special thank you to all who participated!).

Now we are confident in our Dedicated Servers, we would like to take the time and answer those recurring couple of questions that remain; “Can I play Darktide solo?”, “Can I play a private game with one or two of my friends?”.

The answers will be Yes, and Yes.

We’ve been working on an option to play exclusively in Solo Mode, where you will be hosting locally your own instance with bots. Because you will be hosting the AI and other game systems locally, this will increase performance cost. However, we continue to monitor and improve the performance where we can. Solo play is in its final stages of testing as we fix the last issues that remain. We aim to release this at Launch. If not, a patch shortly after that in December.

We have recently begun implementing Private Games as an option, and we’re in the middle stages of development for this. When launched, you can start a private game with 2-4 of your friends. We expect to be able to release this later in December.

We heard your feedback on these topics and needed some time to investigate the solutions we had available to us. We hope you enjoy these features when released and welcome further input on them.)

The Devs have promised Solo Mode REPEATEDLY. They 'also' said it would be locally hosted. Now it's on them to deliver.

So, why are you pulling nonsense speculation about 'server burden' out of your ass, exactly?

No they did not. The literally said the opposite. Single player will not be locally instanced.
