If you see Veterans on the first 3 Difficulties you will quickly think they are the most broken class ever invented in the history of videogames.
In order to realize that non of the classes plays quite like they do on those 3 difficulties once you go to 4s or 5s you would actually have to play them and many people don't want to stress themselfs out, are still leveling or want to grind some gear before kicking it up a notch after getting slaughtered by high intensity 3s ...
You talking down on people because your frame of reference is: 1 2 and 3 don't exist, it's damnation only baby!! - yeah ..your world is different than theirs... who ..would..have..thought. A mystery to all.
Crap talking aside:
Seriously, get that difference into your head, into everyones head. Most gameing discussions are littered with screetching, virtiol and fights over the balance or imbalance of things, just because people are completly unable to realize that different difficulties (or skill brackets) deliver a significant difference in gameplay. What is hillariously broken at the bottom might be completly unviable at the top and vice versa. That's the nature of games with some mechanical and skill based depth.
Exactly why I made this post. All the scrubs screaming to nerf veteran obviously spend all their time in Malice and low intensity Heresy. They join a game to get destroyed by a random horde or elite then see a veteran pop their special and kill 6 elites from a distance - their first thought is OMG I CAN'T DO THAT, HE IS SO OP TIME TO GO CRY ON THE FORUM.
Maybe they noticed the PS mobility is crap ? maybe it's too early for people to notice yet.
"Awwww he can kill more Pox Walker in a single swing than me ! So broken."
"Oh look i can 360 chain stagger every elite in the game with my crusher but surely it's bad..."
For a while people thought Psyker was useless. It was just the players being bad at the role, or not understanding it at all.
"The first reaction is denial. In this stage, individuals believe the diagnosis is somehow mistaken, and cling to a false, preferable reality."
Damn that's exactly how I feel about a certain jab and Myocarditis..
I don't know what Kubler-Ross models are, but I feel the same way about my Warhammer models when my paint job sucks...
Remember 1st trailer? There were only 4 guardsman... more development time invested - better result.
I'm curious what happened to motivate you so, because it seems weird for you to just be randomly overcome with an intense aggression for hypothetical critics.
Edit: I'm kidding btw. I am actually curious if something happened, though.
You obviously don't know what overpowered means if you think a veteran keeping his ult up is anything close to that.
The purpose of this thread is to prove people like you that because one class excels at SHARPSHOOTING better than others, it doesn't mean he is OP or needs to be nerfed. What is overpowered though is one class being able to solo/carry the hardest difficulty in the game.
As for lower difficulties so few enemies get thrown at you its easy to keep everything back with ranged fire most times.
