Vezi statistici:
Possibility of Genestealers
The latest Vox Transmission trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdqJ1UQTays) mentioned "And when it goes quiet, we hear the chanting" and "I have just been told there are romours of things moving in the lower levels. Dark things that are not human, that were never human."

Many people believe this could be a hint at Genestealers, that Fatshark might be rearing for a new enemy faction to fight against, or new missions, or something, what are your thoughts?

Would like Genestealer Cult. Also would like Tzeentch, but his minions never appear in games for some reason.
they are 9 steps ahead of you.

Well given Fat Shark's track record with Vermintide... they might just add in another enemy.

They threw in Beastment (Minotaurs) in Verm 2 in an expansion. So it is possible and being that Tyranids are close in how they operate to the current enemies it wouldn't be that hard.

That said... lore wise, how do you explain a Tyranid Fleet. When those things come they wipe out the planets they go to. You could probably do a Genestealer offshoot since those sometimes inhabit the Habs.

Genestealer cults are a thing, if you want to stick to the lore. And they'd work pretty well with whats already presented here.

Yes, but "things that were never human" doesnt really fit then.

Unless they built a Hive atop Necron tomb that got active cause geenstealers clicked the wrong button.
It will be re-skinned hounds. I guarantee it.

It does from the Imperial perspective. It really, REALLY does. They are serious about their human supremacy doctrine. Abhumans are the extreme limit and essentially grandfathered into the system, or they'd be considered xenos as well.:raven:

Hive World Cults

Imperial Hive Worlds represent the archetypal targets of a Genestealer Cult infestation. Possessed of massive, teeming populations, they represent a prime source for a new infection. At the same time, since much of that population is composed of a low socioeconomic class, a cult can spread quickly while a world's authorities remain blissfully unaware of the terrible curse spreading amongst their populations of workers and serfs.

The underhive region of a hive city represents the perfect place for a Genestealer Patriarch to take up hidden residence and oversee the growth of his tainted dynasty. Imperial authorities rarely, if ever, venture into such benighted areas of the Emperor's domain, and the myriad small wars that often erupt between underhive gangers simply provide the nascent cult with its first infusion of combat-hardened personnel and weapons. It is from Hive Worlds that more Genestealer Cult infestations have arisen than any other classification of human-settled planet.

The Cult Tenebrous is a Genestealer Cult that has been corrupted by Chaos, in this case the Plague God Nurgle.

History
Around 998.M41 elements of the Genestealer Cult Tenebrous found themselves becoming the infested, rather than the infesters, when their bulk lander was swallowed by a Warp Storm that stranded them on the outskirts of the Garden of Nurgle in the Realm of Chaos.

The cult discovered the true meaning of parasitism and horror. Eventually, the Grandfather of Plagues allowed them to emerge into realspace once more, horrifically changed and ready to serve their new master's sickly agendas.

Except the remains of the cult contain no Tyranid units, nevermind quite a large chunk of Mr. Ward's work is considered unusable any more.

Just what a heretic would say!

Someone probably mentioned it but data miners already confirmed that genestealers have been mentioned in the code related to cosmetics at least.

Honestly I really hope I'm wrong but at this point I have such little faith in Fatshark that I think all this means is just another "new" map that's just map that's already in the game just backwards.

...Really hope I end up eating my words though, would be awesome to be wrong in a really big way,but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Considering Mr. Ward is no longer with the company and recently released Purple Pimp Limo Codex 9th makes no mention of Papa GreenJeans or Tenebrous, I think we know whom the heretic is.

That hasn't stopped FS before (beastmen aligning with norsicans is not a thing) but when a race specifically develops Venom weapons that literally break down Chaos both psychically and physically, they prolly aren't going to share a bathroom anytime soon.

I would find genestealers to be a very odd choice considering that, if a genestealer cult is to the level of infestation that a rebelion or uprising could happen, the imperium would not even make an attempt to save it, the answer would be they just exterminatus the entire planet.

The reason being at that point the gene pool of the population would be so corrupted, and the influence of the cult so vast that through out the hive its to much of a risk to even attempt to weed it out.

Also it would be even more odd if there was a cultist AND genestealer cult considering those two dont exist at the same time, one usually roots out the other or the genestealer cult just dies off.
While there are some flaws to the idea, of all the other race enemy possibilities, Genestealers are probably the only really other viable enemy to face, if they do include another.

There's also that whole Shadow in The Warp thing that literally makes Chaos explode while in proximity, but again FS doesn't sweat the details cause 4000/lifetime is all you need to make tencent happy.
