Where are the other Chaos gods?
We know of the four Chaos gods would all be wanting more souls in their kingdoms. Well, not all of them, but at least 3 of them. Khorne would want their skulls for his throne. Slaanesh would want more Eldar souls, but would be happy to take human souls to empower himself. Tzeentch would see what would benefit him if he did take anyone there on that world, so he would probably be out. The only three I could see is Khorne, Slaanesh and Nurgle. So, where are the other 2?

I want more than just one Chaos god's units. I want all 4 or at least more than 1 of them.

Honestly, its probably Nurgle again since they reused assets or used assets that were planned but never implemented from Vermintide 2

The issue is of all the 4 gods nurgle is almost the only one who likes to use endless armies of "zombies" and cannon fodder, while the other 3 prefer different approach to face the humanity. Also DT is suposed to be during the Pox Wars so yeah if they are using the lore of the pox wars must be nurgle again.

4-3 does not equal 2.

They were detained by the CCP for moral degeneracy.

idk

one of the gaping plot holes in the 40k universe involves things like how exactly a hive city that uses laborers as an expendable resource can manage to grow to a population of over 50 billion people when almost every human in the setting seems to be far too busy to have any interest in sex or procreation

so did you ever wonder where are all these trillions of humans coming from?

maybe 'ole slaanesh discovered humans packed into their hive-barns make great livestock for soul-farming

sure, slaanesh might lose some of his cult's crop-yield to the imperial war machine, but doesn't growing your own souls sound like a way better long-term strategy than spreading plagues, slaughtering innocents, or overthrowing governments?

We got bigger problems in this game than chaos gods not being represented.

wouldn't fit a horde shooter. Khorne cultists would not just be hanging around and would've already gotten themselves killed, or wiped out any guard presence remaining to the extent that missions would be pointless.
Slaneesh cults are turbo-hedonists and the format can't incorporate them. or at least not in any respect that isn't "oh look, these generic mooks are underdressed and have different symbols, aren't we great for throwing the lore into a woodchipper so you can have a white-washed sewage pile pretending to be content"
Tzeench cults are also out of the question. "hey, what if every enemy on this map was a Deamon Host?" "oh, yeah unfathomable cosmic horrors are just *slightly* out of the paygrade of "four disposable convicts we would've executed if we had the manpower to turn down able hands"

The chaos gods/cults fights between themselves, on this world nurgle just came out on top.

Nurgle is easy to design aesthetically and the easiest to create missions around. Just throw some gross stuff on the walls, tell players to go scan this disease, kill some sickly looking zombies, and call it a day. Plus all the re-used assets played a huge role in Fatshark's decision making, no doubt. I mean it's a near-endless list of various lore and Chaos daemons and xenos you have in 40K, but nope best they can do is Nurgle.

"Must be nurgle again"... Dude there's literally nurgle insignias everywhere.
Brother Roga Jan 28, 2023 @ 2:43am
Nurgle called dibs on the planet, the others are just gonna find other planets to start destroying.

And who's to say this planet fell to Nurgle out of just the influence of Nurgle's cronies? Tzeentch's talons are always present, always plotting.
