sh*tposting aside,
not to piss on the idea to bring more different weapons (which as far as i remember, never was bad (till now)), i´d prefer it to remove at least 30-40 of all weapons from pool to increase my chance to actually get what i want, simply due to how the system works.
that said, a heavy-gunner veteran subclass that relys on more firepower sounds fun.
I'd rather they at least bring over Vermintide 2's crafting system and build on/improve that (also toss in an attachment system so we can better customize our weapons w/ optics, lights, stocks, grips, etc. Some of the guns already have rails, anyway).
The RNG shop is dumb and should be done away with.
Or they can also add more stuff for the other classes.
Zealot, for example, can get a canon Eviscerator-Flamer combi-weapon (see: Redeemer). They could also buff the Force Sword (IMHO, it should feel more powerful than the Power Sword, anyway...maybe have it always be charged, and the charge up action just increases the damage for single-target enemies).
Dunno about Ogryns much...belt-fed Heavy Bolter? Heavy Flamer? Multi-laser? belt-fed Autocannon? All of those?
Seeing as fatshark has NEVER had a balanced line up, why are you expecting this one to be somehow different.
Veteran is LITERALLY "40K Guy", if you're expecting another class to be better you're either unfamiliar with the dev or unfamiliar with the setting, or both.
there's something about the punch of a pump action that feels truly thrilling.
maybe get the stillborn to frackin' breathe before we start talking about pre-school and college
Well, it's not like people here can do anything to fix the mess that Darktide presently is. Let them dream of a brighter future a bit, there's no harm in it.
lol Fatshark could embrace the silly side of 40k more, and, yeah, allow stuff like that.
Maybe include silly stuff like combo attacks: Ogryn swings the Zealot around, while the Zealot is revving their Eviscerator.
Or the Ogryn carrying the Psyker like a pigskin/American handegg egg, pushing aside enemies while the Psyker shoots out lightning or warp fire.
