Playable characters

Since it's in a hive city and you're with the inquisition, I'm guessing there's no playable eldar?
It's a shame, I really wanted a shooter game with playable eldar.

It's even more tragic that they went with the Inqisitorum, literally the most xenophobic arm within the Imperium, even more than the Adepta Sororitas.

I would assume that a Eldar could be part of the Inquisitors team. Inquisitors often do have a band of mercenary or trusted allies with them that can seem rather odd.

After Kerillian was such a success for Vermintide, I can see a Eldar copy popping up. No witty banter with a dwarf then, but if there are classes like in V2 the eldar aspects surely could prove helpful.

I quit playing 40k starting with 5th edition. I keep a lose eye on it but I don't know what the thing is with Squats. Last I remember was that the Demiurg were "Squat proxies" and they seemingly are still around, since they appeared in Battlefleet Gothic 2.

If we assume that we see at least 4 of the characters/classes, then I would say one could at least be a Ogryn.

Maybe. Maybe an Halfling? Maybe just a human sniper. Gaunts Tanith troops were kinda famous for their cloaks, so something along the lines would also be reasonable.

To be fair, radical Ordo Xenos inquisitors are often fine with working alongside Xenos. There's even an entire radical ideology that states that humanity can work with(or at least use) some Xenos races to their own end and that only the races too violent for diplomacy should be exterminated.

If our inquisitor is a radical, we might get an Eldar character.

what about non ordo xenos inquisitors? i mean, we are dealing with a chaos cult so basically heretics as it looked like so it could probably be a ordo hereticus inquisitor or not?
