Its bad that they made Sharpshooter so generic, instead of making it a focused sniper class with Long-Las as weapon.
Only in Canada they can have Kasrkin sub-class.
Damn Canadians
Also as Strayed said. Kasrkin is Cadian exclusive. You would get a Storm Trooper/Tempestus Scion subclass.
You can easily make storm trooper more CQB oriented class. With bonus to suppresion, nades or something.
It's the weapon Scab Gunners use already.
Would be really powerful in a vet's hands.
That's not a hellgun it's just a lasgun with a back mounted power pack so he can go pew pew indefinitely. A hellgun would wreck you in just a few shots. Hellguns generally have backpack power packs because they use so much charge in a shot. They make even Astartes go 'hang on a minute'
Tell that to the MG XII, which is one of the best weapons in the game for long range encounters and is literally just a poor mans Long-Las.
Now imagine long las. High dmg, slow rate of fire, low ammo. Useless aside from killing specials. And MGXII already does that. And for havier armour we have bolter and Hellbore. Plus any scope is just pointless as there are no places where you would need one. 90% we fight in close range and on longer firefights scope would only limit your view.
ftfy
The emphasis is on high damage. It would be somewhat the same as comparing the longbow to the handgun in Vermintide. The Long-Las would obviously be stronger against armored enemies than the MG XII. Bolter and Plasma wouldnt matter in that regard, same as the existence of the revolver. It would be just a las weapon with another focus on threats. It could also have a higher hidden bonus on headshot damage.
Hilarious steam autocorrect from Cadian to Canadian but guess it works
Giving them Thunder Hammers as a hilarious nod to 3rd Edition would be funny.
It's absolutely a hellgun, it looks like a hellgun, has a backpack power source like a hellgun and hits harder per shot - like a hellgun. On difficulties 4&5 (where enemies are doing comparable damage to players) they absolutely will wreck you in short order if you let them.
Dude its absolutely a hellgun
What's the difference you may ask?
People been asking Games Workshop forever.
All that's certain it causes a lot of screeching when brought up.
