Congrats, you're the only sane person in the thread so far.
And then they'll likely start scratching their head on how retention dropped despite all these terrible retention mechanics.
It did have updates, and Darktide surely will as well.
Anthem could have been a great game. It was supposed to be. I had fun with it, the gameplay was incredible, flying, etc. It's the same deal with Darktide. Gameplay is great, but the skeleton it is built upon is horrendous.
EA done this before and several times, and yet they keep getting MEGA-ULTIMATE SALES.
Just be glad this isn't full of Card packs like Fifa or Madden. Card packs of weapons and curios. Otherwise you are stuck with the 20% starter weapons
EA even did worse than that, and released completely broke af simcity, and added dlc and expansion to it yet never fixed base issues.
Remember the trailer talking about how it was dedicated to grouping with friends and all the special events it would offer?
