the most Grim lore tell that there are no female Ogryn and Ogryn are only born from human women (usually convict)+ogryn and get horrible grapesex+delivery (often fatal) and all
Some that Ogryn women are kept in specific zone specifcaly for procreation, because overlall Ogryn are very precious to the empire of man but not common enough and losing them could be a blow to its power and balance
All in all they never see a battlefield nor have any use in the lore except beeing wombs.
Also the few time Ogryn women were "shown" by concept art and stuff, that was never canonised they were mostly as ugly as Ogryn and barely had any of the classic feminin charm to them, so often they were considered Ogryn and not female Ogryn by the community because of the lack of difference.
Calls people Fasict while playing a game where you play as a Inqusiter....love it.
"They will all die...
..equally"
-Inquisitor famous words moments prior exterminating a whole race considered heretical - M39 Crusade
so...
https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Cassia_(Ogryn)
which is part of the Black Library Novel

so would be canon... she's also a psyker so that's a double HERACY!!! its also mentioned that Ferik Jurgen once got hit on by one while on deployment.
https://warhammer40k.fandom.com/wiki/Ferik_Jurgen
"She perched on his knee as he ate, the two of them gazing into one another's eyes, and I found myself thinking I was going to have trouble getting him back aboard the Salamander in the morning. Even Jurgen was being flirted with outrageously, which struck me as truly bizarre. The only female I'd ever known to take a romantic interest in him before was an ogryn on R&R, and she'd been drunk at the time. He picked at his food nervously, responding as best he could, but it was clear he was out of his depth."
from the Black Library novel series

so they are mentioned within Black Library (which are regarded as canon) as more than wombs, with one even being a side character that the plot happens around.
So honestly confused why this is still an issue not to be included. It could be Games Workshop of course but then that's even more confusing since they allowed multiple Black Library novels from multiple authors to include them and signed off. If it was just the passing remark in the Cain book, ok I could let that slide as "missed by the lore auditors" but Cassia is a full character and signed off. Better yet
"Born in a work camp, under the name of Indentured Conscript C455-I, she was later drafted into a Penal Regiment in M42 and sent to the nearest Imperial war front."
A Female Ogryn fighting in a Penal Battalion, now that's an interesting coincidence.
Not to mention - retaining just a single Ogryn model cuts down on the art team's workload for creating new cosmetic options. It's the same reason why all the newly-released characters in For Honour are all gender-locked where most of the original cast had multiple options.
(Gear, penances, ordos and stuff are shared between the same class, so if they did add female ogryns, all they would need is levelling.)
Also, in canon, Ogryns aren't capable of talking much or at all, mainly communicating with grunts in canon Warhammer 40k lore. So I really like Fatshark's creative take on an Ogryn and gave them more speaking ability while not straying too far from the official lore.
Well at least I learned something new... even thought its always hard to trust stuff written in the 40k when the lore and reliability can be so volatile. But its the same with bolter and laser rifle... some lore tell they have enough recoil to break bones other that recoil is so low even child coudl use them...
