Take a Surge Staff, and spam zap everything.
Dude literally said he "cant hit the broad side of a barn," so that means he cannot aim.
No Aiming = No Play Veteran.
Ah. Topic starter cant aim and has low actions per minute. Zealot also, since he has bonuses from taking health damage. On low diffs melee fight may be just light spam.

I'd more recommend playing at lower difficulties more than recommend any given class, given how more forgiving those are.
Sharpshooter is another easier class to play but most times your group will rely on you to take out threats before they can inflict damage like exploding zombies and snipers so you'll have to pay extra attention to all sides, but thankfully due to their special ability, it's not that hard to do that.
Zealot is more melee oriented, which I would assume suits what you are looking for. The class requires a great deal of situational awareness but has a few tricks up their sleeve that can give you a lot of leeway.
Ogryns are the class I personally despite so I won't comment on them. I find them both boring to play and annoying to play with.
Psyker is fairly similar to the Veteran in that they have to juggle a few things consistently, but you can at least rid yourself of needing to aim by picking the Surge or flame staff.
So in summa: Zealot probably.
Thats because of bleed.
The former have got very strong close range builds. Some of them feel a bit cheesy.
The latter have got a solid talent tree which synergize well with all sorts of ranged weapons. I'm pretty sure the veteran will remain rock solid no matter what adjustments Fatshark makes.
The reason it's the most popular class is because its the ONLY finished class in the game.
Like, ffs two of the other classes have the exact same ult lmao "Charge."
