Unarmored vs Unyielding
got a fairly sweet axe with both of these perks. thing is, I want to replace one of them with vs flak armored instead since that's one of the best perks in the game right now due to flak enemies being abundant.

can't decide which to replace since extra damage against unyielding is good but they're not as abundant as other enemy types.

and unarmored enemies are pretty easy to kill enough as it is, except they'll be much easier to kill now with this perk plus they're abundant. still debatable if it's truly worth it.

which of these two would you replace?

edit: forgot to mention it's a tac axe mk II

Right, but you're not going to be hitting multiple targets as often as you would with a hordesword or a eviscerator - so unyielding can be a better a bet since the HP goes up per difficulty a lot more than little moblets or even specialists do.

You haven't figured out how to take advantage of it, then.

You can sweep your swings through a crowd when it is active and you will end up hitting multiple targets every time. It takes some practice and some wrist finesse to get the timing down on the vertical swings, but it is fully possible.

If you don't realize this, most enemies have unarmored and unprotected feet.
You can almost always benefit from +20% Unarmored damage by attacking only their feet.

Fun fact.

Of the unarmored mobs you will fight, close to half of them are ranged (Not in axeing distance reliably), with another quarter of them having the unarmored part being an exposed head (which weak pointed will kill them fast enough in a swing or two) of which 25% more damage isn't going to likely round down a hit or two on something like the tac axe. Presuming you high rolled a decent damage, 150 heavies to a head are lethal with or without a damage buff.

Unyieldings on the other hand you will absolutely get much value as you will be swinging into them at least double digit times if not more, and there you will end up absolutely saving a swing or two.

Take unyielding.
