Yet they are who prevent the workers in the sector to enjoy the fruits of their labour. Because the workers cant work with cultists being around in those areas.
So, in the case of those missions, it is in character to say that. Because he steals from the "sinners" to give back to the workers which are "holy".
Yeah, really weird that the poor downtrodden prisoners, that were likely convicted by rich, nobles with little to no evidence, would be anti-rich people.
It's literally one of the character creation options for why you're a prisoner. Calling out the extravagance and opulence of some high ranking church member and yeah in general life really sucks for the vast majority of humans in 40k
And it would make sense for characters with that background to feel that way. I don't think it makes sense for literally everyone else to be in agreement about it, however.
Mine Preacher isn't one

And there is nothing wrong with the preacher lamenting the fact that fab workers slave away their whole life while the rich have wealth unimaginable even by today's standards. The Imperial Creed is not a libertarian's wet dream either.
Every man and woman have their duty to the Emperor, whether through fighting the enemies of the Imperium, or through work. And those who do honest work deserve dignity.
That said, planetary nobles are often corrupt, and don't care about the living conditions of the working population. Disliking that fact doesn't make you a commie.
In fact, if you wanna point out a faction with paralels to subversive commie revolutionaries, that would be the genestealer cults.
That wasn't Jesus. That was Paul the former Pharisee who wrote that.
