The first Tyrannid war occurred on Ultramar (or was it Calth?) and it wiped out the entirety of the Ultramarines 1st Company which are Astartes wearing Terminator armour. (ie. 100 dudes in terminator tactical dreadnought armour btw...) Never mind millions of civvies, Imperial Guard and PDF.

Trust me, you do not want to be on the business end of a Tyrannid hive fleet if not an Astartes.

Also, regarding challenge, why not play the game only on Damnation? :D

Tyranids might be a stretch, that would be all out war already, but a Genestealer Cult would be cool to fight. A Genestealer boss, and abominations/cult psyker/ as monstrosities.

tbh nurgle hordes.. nids... they are too common for 40K titles now. Idk what Darktide has in store for us in the future, but so far it seems like we only get nurgle rosters for possible future enemies. And we got a bit of mention in dialogue about Genestealers, so just maybe a little bit of other faction's possible appearance like genestealers (again, common 40k game enemies).
And I do not expect much of variation of enemy factions in this game. But I also do not know how expansive 'Darktide' setting is. Not much lore regarding Moebian domain.

given the devs' backstory of their area (meaning increased dismemberment and kills cases in St Petersburg), I've raised my hopes.
