Besides it’ll probably be a list of broken promises, as how it’s usually been so far in development
Which is the result of them advertising Vermintide 2 as having dedicated servers, which was indeed a scam because it didnt have dedicated servers on release, then giving a roadmap that had dedicated servers and other stuff on it but they couldnt even deliver the first things because the game was so broken and they were too slow in fixing stuff. Soon after the roadmaps announcenment it was already ditched because they knew they couldnt deliver and then went basically silent because they didnt want to announce stuff anymore, which is a childish response considering that it was their fault to begin with. Dedicated servers were eventually ditched completely but they still made another announcement way into the lifespan of V2 showing PvP, which was eventually ditched as well, because Fatshark is a terrible developer.
Rouge trader looks very promising. Owlcat, isn’t it?
It's kinda funny you'd bring up dedicated servers, if you ask chatGPT (openai chat bot) about them, it will give you an interesting answer. The bot will even tell you the name of the exe "fatshark_server.exe" meaning there has to be some source of this information.
- Tha chaos spawn that was shown in the trailers
- The armors that you can see during character creation and in the promo material (or in the Steam store)
- The Relic Hunt secondary objective that was working in closed beta
- The rest of the craft system that they said will come in December
- The Flash missions that already have achievements and were mentioned in the november "Mission Terminal" blogpost
- The Assault modifier (with less medpack / more ammo, can't remember the exact details) or whatever was it called in the last patchnotes but edited out shortly
or not ... noone knows ...
This isnt the first time Fatshark has done this, but it is the most egregious and they deserve every ounce of criticism and flak for breaking promises, cutting out content already shown to us, not finishing core systems of the game, etc.
Any new thread with valid criticism of fatshark at all of any degree and Calv instantaneously brigading it and defending their honour. Name a more iconic combo, I’ll wait.
Truly he is the definition of “waiter, there is a fly in my sou-“
“Excuse me sir! There is not a fly in my soup! In fact, the restaurant never exclusively said there would not be any flies in your soup! This is what’s wrong with diners these days, being so entitled. I enjoy my soup as it is.”
Meanwhile, he has not in fact actually touched his proverbial soup, being too busy telling everyone how amazing it is to actually try it enough to form a decent opinion on it.
Nice, the future suddenly doesn’t look so grimdark after all. Very much looking forward to this.
