However, if you accidentally trigger it, you DO get an achievement if you kill it once.
Would like monsters to drop crafting mats but im sure its another to be added feature
But then you need a group that can actually kill it without slab shield cheese.
Some people will get mad at Ogryn for not having it when one comes up in the mission as well, cuz 'internet'.
Others will just jump it not caring, again cuz 'internet'.
An extra loot would be nice though.
when monstrosity spawn is triggered by level progression, you can't proceed further until you kill it duh
It's not SUCH a problem lol. I was asking the community the best strategy and if there was hidden rewards for doing them. One of the first replies was a good answer. A landmine to add tension.
i'm talking about plague ogryn and nurgle beast. You can't press the switch until you kill them
Daemonhost is different. It's either not supposed to be a monstrosity, or is supposed to have some incentive to kill it
Daemonhosts are landmines that, assuming a team that plays competently and to win, gets triggered only it isn't noticed and some long-range weapon accidentally clips it or because other enemies, perhaps a mutant, forces players or a player to enter its area. First one might feel like BS if it happens (happened to me exactly once, so I can't comment really) and second one adds tension when fighting around it. Personally I like them and they add to the feel.
If you got an Ogryn with a Slab Shield or...apparently a Zealot with a Power Hammer, trigger it and go off if you wanna get some points on a contract.
