The entire game is co op, there's no PVP.
You COULD play this game solo, but it's very not recommended, the bots need a LOT of work to be capable allies, and the fact they don't carry medkits or scriptures/grimoires is also very painful.
Yeah, when matchmaking with public players maybe 1 in 100 will use in-game VoIP. You can tag\ping enemies and locations which is all the communication that is needed.
The entire game is coop and has full matchmaking. You pick a mission or quick play and it'll drop you in a lobby with three others.
There isn't really a "campaign" as such. Just a freeform set of missions that will be randomly available to run, similar to deep rock galactic mission system if you've played that.
Yea, there are in game tools like pings and such, you don't need to use a mic, in fact the vast majority of players don't.
It was more world building than story creation.
I'm sure he will have been involved in whatever story they're planning to roll out over the next few months to a year, but that wouldn't have been his main task.
lmao imagine believing this
what...world building? a hive city infested by nurgle? don't need him for that. they could have hired me
