well ofc we d not use nades for non-trash mobs. its trash clear tool but yes, it has ability to be more than that. an option, up to you.
They die to the impact regardless so kinda doesn't matter at all?
Or maybe the perk doesn't work?
I've never had anything not work in grinder so kinda odd.
Think of Bleed as bonus side damage to help with Elites and Bosses, Trash dies to fast for it to matter.
Damage over time ability that stacks on hit.
So lets say each hit inflicts one stack of bleed then the first hit will be
30 damage per second for 8 ticks
hit it again and now its
60 second per second for 8 ticks, if it was only 4 ticks left then its refreshes with the higher damage.
It will eventually reach a cap which different based on the enemy type. The more HP a mob has the more damage they tend to take as a result of bleeding. This also It scales partly with your weapon meaning low damage weapon will have a lower bleeding cap. This is why they are particularly good on boss and I've seen zealot kill daemonhost with their bleed knife. The hit itself was only 50 damage but the bleed was like 400 per second.
I notice carapace armor like the crusher tend to have significantly reduced damage while bulwalk and reaper takes huge damage per second from bleed.
You can try it out by buying a knife with a bleed effect and hit mobs in the meat grinder.
