Anyone got tips for The Emperor Protects penance?

This is the one for blocking 900 damage in 10 seconds? have got close but cant ever get seem to get it up to 900, so if anyone has a strategy that works for it, i'd be super grateful.

Are you serious? I got it by blocking 1 shooting Reaper on Malice diff (with ogryn shield)

A lot of people saying do it with ogryn but hoping to avoid leveling one just for this specific penance since i only really like sharpshooter :D

i just did a lvl 5 mission got it without knowing

If you have a psyker, the best way is to use the kinetic deflection feat that you unlock on level 20. It pretty much increases your peril rather than reduces your stamina. You can block above 2000 within a short period of time. Make sure you do it on Damnation difficulty preferably high intensity and use a non-warp-consuming sword because it allows you to reduce the peril much faster and while blocking. I use Maccabean dual sword
