That's why you have to rely on your Vet to focus on taking out any ranged unit he sees and try to avoid meleeing mobs if possible.
Zealots ability is designed to dive into ranged crowds and make them swap to melee
Best melee dps of the game ?
I know that, but that's pretty much the answer to OP's question. At least when I play as Vet, I try my best to take out as many of the ranged units out with the feat that highlights them.
First, they don't. Second, you can dodge ranged attack.
So if you don't break something you're an idiot. Why do you even damage reduction? Whole point is to not get hit in combat. If you're the kinda Zealot who just runs straight up to things and bashes them with left click whilst tanking damage, you're doing it wrong.
Also fire is a thing.
Also language protip: LMFAO = laughing my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass off. You wrote that as laughing my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ass off off off off etc.
Going around phonetically pronouncing acronyms as words doesn't place you further up the picking order.
That's what the dash is for ;)
2. You can still dodge ranged attacks with your movement.
3. In some situations you can stay back and cover for your long distance teammates. Zealot has the best close ranged weapon in game to compensate for that anyway :)
4. You got superior melee options too.
5. Forgot to say dashes also generate tons of toughness so even if you get gunned down you don't really lose any hp due to how much toughness zealot can generate.
