even though i'm sticking with it, i'd say no.
v2 had years of polish and content drops.
dt right now is bare bones and is essentially early access riddled with bugs and other issues. it's in the same sorry state as v2 was at release. needs time.

In about a year maybe? The basic gameplay is much better but everything else is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and pretty much worse.

It's different. I'd say "yes" because they arent the same game. The fighting mechanics are similar but this definitely allows you more flexibility in your play style. More levels too. Atmosphere and graphics are better too.

maybe its because i have over 1k hours in v2 but i enjoy dt more its more challenge, better/more modern gameplay, the setting is more appealing (i liked v1 maps much more than the v2 ones as well)

buy yourself a xbox gamepass key for 1€ and test dt if you like it buy on steam, i mean what could you buy with 1€ its not really wasted wether you like it or not.

NO shot Darktide is better, the game is lackluster on sooo many fronts. Vermitide 2 is a coffin of lost promises tho, game has/had issues..

Vermintide 2 is a superior game in just about every way.

Vermintide 2 also has it's fair share of BS, but Darktide doubled down on those things.

Darktide might be better eventually, but who knows. If we have to pay for future classes like they say we might this game is probably DOA.

vermintide has way more content so the answer currently is no. It can be though once its gotten more content drops

Gunplay wise and the way it feels to kill and destroy enemies? Darktide wins.

In just about every other way, Vermintide 2 wins.
