I see a lot of crying about the Cash Shop, yet...

Seems like nearly everyone has the Imperial Edition backpack on and nearly every Zealot, Psyker, and Ogryn are wearing the cash shop cosmetics.

I'm sure when the shop rotates that many will get those two.

This is why there's a cash shop despite the outcry. Because gamers will use them in droves if they like the game.

I personally have no cash shop items and didn't get the imperial edition as I hate the box pattern on the outfits.

Reason: Too many NPCs in the world (including yourself) who value a worthless skin because they have nothing else going on in their lives so they resort to looking "cool" in a video game nobody cares about and spend actual commodity to purchase a virtual item you do not own. Default skin = GIGACHAD.

how is it preadtory when the you dont need to buy any cosmetics when they give no advatange . Not to mention the cosmetics arent even that amazing to the point of oh i need this compared to what you can already get for free.

I have an issue, not against the company for doing it, hey easy money, but man skins suck in shop, when you do not spend money. I spent like 50 dollars on this game, now in order to have half way decent looking skins, I have to pay even more money.

That is my issue, not that the company does it, its hey we can get people to buy this game and then spend more money on skins. I would do the same. As you said it changes nothing gameplay wise. Plus you really only get to see your skin a little bit.

But its hey I want something cool, oh wait everything in shop is crap, anything half decent, I have to drop money for. I just do not like that part.

Oh look, 15 year old arguments again that were illogical in the first place. The game uses a premium currency that forces you to buy more than what you need.

My biggest issue with cosmetic only shops is the availability of free stuff and the quality of said free stuff. Beyond penance gear, the cosmetics you can buy with dockets are kinda meh, assuming we end up getting more I hope they don't continue to be meh

Got no issue with a cosmetic shop. The reason many are upset is that it seems to have been included and prioritized over glaring issues within the game. I am sure most of us would prefer fixes for crashing and other things. Heck I still have a gigantic helmet on my Veteran that is hilarious to look at but is a bug all the same. Basically folks paid money for this game and are being coaxed to give even more money for an unpolished title. Again, nothing wrong with a cosmetics shop it's just extremely poor timing right now.

People who have stuff going on in their real life aren't playing video games. Sounds like you're just coping.

Personally I love 40$ games with premium currency models that you can't earn in-game. It's obviously much better than just being able to directly buy what you want without a middle-man to obfuscate how much you're actually paying for something. And being able to earn a set amount on like a weekly cap or something would just be the worst, I couldn't even imagine playing a game that let you do that, certainly not one where you pilot space ships.
