How many maps are there anyways?

i think there are about 6-8 maps as several of the missions take place on the same or similar maps. was a good way to do it and make it feel fresh though, some of them you can barely tell.

Yeah one mission you start at a map from one side, the other mission you start at the other side, very suddle stuff going on there.

Clown answer: bruh there are 5 maps, all are concrete corridors and sewers.

Real answer: there are 7 missions, happening across 5 zones, which have 2-3 maps each, which is 12-14 maps total, they share a common theme but to say they are same map is dumb. You can jump into Metal Fabricator zone and there is a mission happening in a freight port next to it, which just happens to be within Metal Fabricator district.

it feels like there are 4 per area, and there seem to be 5 areas.
But thanks to random rotation you get to see like 8 maps of the total of I'm assuming 20 maps.

Though I'll be fair and say that just because we have 20 maps, doesnt mean its more than V2 in terms of quality. Its neat that map parts are re-used as you get to experience them in different ways. But I'd prefer completely different maps (like V2) as I cant for the life of me say "oh yeah its that map".
Its just "I thought it was this.. whelp".
Looks too same-y, but its still fun and the idea of going through a similar part but in another way is good, but a wee bit overused.

But after playing an absolute ton the last several days i *feel* like there are so few maps.

There's Sandmap. Smeltermap. Cathedral map. Prison Map. Filthy shack map. So yeah. 5?
