So… Who are you fighting exactly…?
This doesn’t look like a very lore friendly 40K game based on what I’ve seen of the enemy?

It looks like you fight a bunch of generic zombies?

Are they supposed to be chaos troops or Gene Stealers? If so they don’t appear to be either…

Really wish we could have at least had some Rids or Orks to fight as it would have been much more interesting.

They're heretics worshipping Nurgle, of course its lore friendly...

In the grim dark world of tide games, the only Chaos God in existence is Nurgle.

Seems like a very lore friendly nurgle pox that infested people making them like zombie to me... would i have prefered more original ennemies ? yes. does it still feel very on brand ? also yes.

hopefully they will add more enemies in the future, but right now they are minions of nurgle, one of the choas gods.

An Imperial Guard regiment that has been converted and infected by Nurgle is trying to infect a hive city.

They are the forces of Nurgle, basic units of the Death Guard and their Pox Walkers sent to weaken planets.

It looks like the Chaos focused faction is Nurgle, therefore the zombie hordes we see are likely Poxwalkers. There are also corrupted Guardsmen in the mix

Half of us are fighting Nurgle. 1/4 is fighting crashes. The remaining is fighting 'the man' and his in game cash shop. Chaos is out of control.

You're fighting a Nurgle invasion.

Nurgle is a chaos god and a major faction in the lore.

You are fighting the same enemies as Left4dead obviously. Zombies.
Erm, I mean... Nurgle Zealots.
Just like the Bright Wizard Sienna is nothing like the Psyker. Totes different...

It's lore friendly. You're fighting the despicable disciples of Nurgle - the Plague God.

No, it's not "table-top" friendly. Plenty of the bad guys you fight don't have models in the miniatures game.

And you know what's wrong with that!?!?

. . .

nothing.

Eh, the enemies were chosen and designed by Dan Abbnett from my understanding, so they can't not be lore friendly.
