40k is big on the quality of something being set at its initial creation, though the original names fit with the straightforward nature of equipment it doesn't make sense to take something salvaged (basically barely functioning scrap) and turn it around to something master crafted (the height of that particular technology and a verified work of art) by just having a single tech priest tune it in her workshop for a bit with random junk you found on assignment

could've easily fit it in the blank space in the middle, but considering the inspection ui is so strangely implemented that you can crash by looking at the damage numbers and descriptions for certain weapon functions I'm hoping, perhaps blindly, that it's a temporary situation they'll fix
