Why did weapon tier names get changed?
Verging on entirely trivial, I know... but why the heck did these change??

Salvaged is now Profane
Black Market is now Redeemed
Frontier is now Anointed
Militarum Issue is now Exalted
Master Crafted is now Transcendent

In all 5 cases I MUCH prefer the previous names. All fit the 40k lore perfectly well, while the new names really don't seem to :(

40k is big on the quality of something being set at its initial creation, though the original names fit with the straightforward nature of equipment it doesn't make sense to take something salvaged (basically barely functioning scrap) and turn it around to something master crafted (the height of that particular technology and a verified work of art) by just having a single tech priest tune it in her workshop for a bit with random junk you found on assignment

Also no lore pieces when press "v" to observe your weapon?

I think because crafting now literally makes the gun more blessed, so it doesn't make sense how a salvaged lasgun becomes black market lasgun.
But it makes sense how profane lasgun gets blessed into redeemed/anointed/etc

Didnt make sense to become black market just because you upgrade it, just sounded confusing to me.

aye that was a weird change, they finally implement the actual numbers and percentages we'd been hoping for the whole time in an (untested) updated inspection ui and they cut the lore text for whatever reason

could've easily fit it in the blank space in the middle, but considering the inspection ui is so strangely implemented that you can crash by looking at the damage numbers and descriptions for certain weapon functions I'm hoping, perhaps blindly, that it's a temporary situation they'll fix

a weapon forged by the techpriests to destroy the enemies of the emperium. a weapon so mighty it was blessed by the emperor himself. a weapon so perfect it transcended.

and then there´s me, some a$$hat who throws 20 of those away to get some new pants.

pretty sure the lore-page of those pants will state: the pants are blue.

much lore, truely epic

Yeah... I guess this is a perfectly logical reason for it. Still a shame though.
