So is the penance armor set the only armor we can actually unlock in the game?

Annnnnnd, then we have Timmy. Who's level 1. With a golden mech suit. That he paid 25$ for....

Just kinda seems silly, y'know? To me they have no value, no meaning, or worth. I'd feel so silly standing there all gauded out like that without having done anything to deserve it.

I'd prefer to earn my style, but seems there's only one set per class in the game we can actually get ourselves by earning it.

Outside of that, I see there's some recolors of the basic like level 5 armor we can get from the rotating fomo requisitions vendor.

They purposely designed Penances to have some asinine requirement to unlock in order to encourage people to buy their drip instead. Better than having to bash my head against the wall trying to achieve the Penances for the armors.

Besides, all I ever wanted was to dress my veteran up as someone from the Death Korps of Krieg. Highly doubt that they'd allow us to earn that for free.

I hate that some of them are basically impossible publicly, but we don't have private lobbies. Yeah, like anyone's gonna let me tickle a boss to death for 10 minutes while entirely avoiding shooting it even a single time so I can get my penance done by brain bursting it to death solo.

Man I legit hated Long Bomb and it's one of the easier ones. Took me a full week of tries. Only got it tonight because of that new desert map. We came out on top of a massive tower, and waaayyyyy down below was a courtyard of like 200 zeds. Just happened to get it there.

It's pretty bad right? Horrible trend that can only be stopped by us stopping supporting companys that do it.
