Or someone from the Adeptus Mechanicus. Like Scitari etc.
Sisters of Battle would be Theoretically Possible but Unlikely.
Their Power Armor is just too Powerful and would therefore either be tuned down and Unrealistic or would be absolutely Overpowered.
Space Marines are absolutely Impossible.
Has been Repeated thousands of Times.
No Space Marines will be Playable. Period.
True thats why i was thinking like a low tier sister of battle.
As big as an ogryn, as good at shooting as a sharpshooter, as good in melee as a zealot and kills the psyker on sight. Probably not balanced for team-play.
I said balanced, not stronger lol
True, however in "enemy of my enemy" the space marines did work with the enemy, which opens up a perfect insertion for plot.
Nope. Not even kind of. Both are completely out of range.
First off Zealot is already a thing so the Sisters are not nor will they ever be on the menu
Second Techpriest is also off the menu and if you have to ask why you've never actually seen what a tech priest in battle array looks like.
Skitarii is about as high a power level as you're going to get.
A battle Sister Repentia or a Novitiate would fit well, but really thats what the Zealot is already (if you make a female one)
I dont want playable space marines, but I would love to see one in game just to see how huge they are to a normal human, especially a Primaris
Dont care which one.
But I do still hope. That in one of the Future Seasons we will get an Escort Mission.
Effectively Escorting a Space Marine that is part of the Inquisitors Retinue.
Likely a High Difficulty Mission only. Which is only Available for Max Level Characters which are Full Members of the Warband.
Effectively the Space Marine (likely a Grey Knight) being Send by Inquisitor Grendyl after Receiving an Intriguing Piece of Intel and needing the Space Marine to make it down into an Enemy Area of the Hive. Escorted by the Player Squad.
I also do Hope that Possibly we might be Faced with a Plague Marine as Boss or Miniboss at some Point.
Considering it would basicly be as Tough as a Crusher while also being as Fast as a Mutant and Equipped with a Bolter.
So there are a couple of ways around these in lore.
Sisters are not universally issued Power Armour, the sisters hospitalier and other noncombat specific roles are often garbed in carapace and flakk depending on their proximity to active warzones.
Space Marine's of certain chapters also recruit in different ways. On such is the Aspirant System, where warriors of certain skills are adopted to begin the process of becoming a marine. This system can vary in its specifics depending on the current writers whim, and one chapter from the FFGames RPG series (The Storm Wardens) use Aspirants as a form of questing cotorie. Know what? that doesnt help spacemahreens are dumb.
while sister sure, make them a Hospitaller or Dialogus. there not combat monster and they have a role within a squad. tech-priest while traditional punishment is merited out by the Adeptus mechanicus (last chancres an exception) a Cyber mastiff handler or a Disgraced engineseer. would work.
ingame, your base is set on the orbit of Atoma Prime, the space ship is owned possibly by one of the appointed Inquisitor Lord (the Old Lady in the cinematic). So you are inside the Inquisition organisation that have limited power, which means inside the ship, there are only limited amount of tech-priests in which sole purpose is to maintain the machineries, ABSOLUTELY No Spehs Mahreens, and NO Adeptus Sororitas involved.
"You" are inside a Inquisition ship, in which their job is to call every citizens of the imperium, criminals, or any specialists to do suicide missions, and they pick the best among "you" to serve as their Acolytes. So your best bet of new class ideas are limited to "The Last Resorts for Atoma Prime", but who are they?
