Space marine DLC in the future?
I really want to play as a tactical Marine in the future, or maybe an apothecary.

Does Fatshark has any plans to add new classes in the future or we are going to stick with this 4?

No Dorks allowed.

No a space marine would easily be way to op for this game. Would have 10000 toughness and hp base kit given how much stronger they are to normal humans and have 95% damage res because of there armor.

No, they've been pretty clear that there will be no space marines, playable or otherwise, in Darktide.

There will be a new class or sub class every quarter.

I know in lore they are way to OP in comparison to a normal human, but at the end this is a videogame and devs could balance the class somehow.

I don't think they would add a class per say but its possible they might do it for a limited time fun event.

Space Marines are on a totally different power scale compared to what we play in Darktide. A SINGLE Marine, let alone a squad of them, would completely turn the tide of battle wherever they have deployed as if they are holy angels sent by the Emperor himself

"There are actually no Space Marines in this game," Head of Design Victor Magnuson told Shacknews. "That was a choice we did early on. We want to focus on the human side or like a more day-to-day person and how would it be to be stuck in a hive city full of Poxwalkers and you have to fight to survive as a normal human being, instead of being this mega godlike Space Marine."
I would love a space marine dlc so much, a black templar or a ultra marine that would be great * _ *
It's the same reason we're not fighting Chaos Space Marines, they'd wipe the floor with our characters.

Granted, the game isn't 100% lore accurate - just breathing in the air of Nurgle-infested areas should infect us with various deadly plagues and blights, and Daemonhosts should probably be five times more dangerous - but they've done a good enough job turning it into a playable experience.

I'm personally waiting for a Dark Eldar game as I don't care about Space Marines at all, I just know it won't happen so I'm fine with this.
