How can you find so many ways to complain about the game?
I think it's a cool mechanic and adds complexity to the gameplay, there are many different attacks you can do and in certain situations you can rev the chainsaw up to kill an elite or something like that.
It's a game guys, it's supposed to be fun. Stop playing it if you get hurt by so many details.
I know, it's crazy. I also used to dodge slight towards all of targets and objectives like a rabbit, but now that I have found this out I can finally walk forward! Bless the Emperor and have gaming guys!
While you are being a d*ck about it I gotta agree with you.
I am a casual player and still can't comprehend how uninquisitive many people are.
Reminds me of that thread in vermintide forums that goes like "I played dozens of hours with throwing axes and didn't know I can press 'R' to recall my axes."
Imagine paying attention to tutorials.
The revving is a short burst power increase and can't actually be held long by non space marines or the vibrations will numb their hands over time. If it was unpowered, it would just be a club and would kill nothing. Plus its as quick as powering the power sword and easy to use.
I actually hate the chainsword, it seems to me instead of cutting through things not revved it just donks off of their armour, hate it.
Imagine not playing to full potential for hours if you cared not to read the keybindings or not play 2min tutorial.
With other swords where she runs her fingers along it, activate it just before an enemy is attacking, and you will see a insane block+instakill.
