I wish I could disable it entirely. I bet some of the disconnects would be solved by that.
And if the people really do not know about this option, so be it. If one can not be bothered to understand what one is using (ones headset, PC, game, ...), one should not use it.
In this sense, leave it deactivated as default.
Everyone here is acting like they'll be forced to listen to jet engines taking off when i'm only suggesting the default option to be push to talk, not muted.
Ideally a slider to lower/raise someone's mic along with a mute button would be perfect.
Disabled by default and then for anyone wishing to use it they can enable it.
Dont force me a style of play i dont want. but do provide options for people who do want.
Noone is forcing you a playstyle, you're acting like having it on muted by default will weed out the bad microphones, it's just going to bother everyone with a proper microphone.
They invented an ingame mute button for that a long time ago, no need for this nonsense.
Ping and text is fine for most stuff.
