In the lore do we become inquisitors?
Would that explain why we can kill beasts of nurgle and hordes of enemies? Would be pretty cool! Will we get inquisitor looking armor too?

No, we become adepts of the inquisition, that's means we officially works for an inquisitor and represent his authority.

accomplices' (retinue's) lackeys more like, part of one of the strike teams. bottom of ladder in the ship, even then its a great chance for a convict. to be forgiven and join inquisition at same time.

At least while the inquisitor has favour, and is alive. If either of those things change... well, then we're back to convicts, or worse.

inquisitors arent particularly physically powerful and you dont need to be one to kill a daemon, although it helps. in general in 40k, humans have a higher power cap than they do in real life so theres regular humans that are as strong as space marines and so on.

And even that reqires usually top tier bionics or medical procedures that most people dont have access to.
edit: plus it seems that at least some Inquisitors are psykers aswell.

i think worst enemy for an inquisitor is their own paranoia. we seen what happened.
but also natural for their job since they re kinda space detectives.

Inquisitors have Assets/Retinues that do Investigation and the such but if things get out of hand Exterminatus. (While you are planetside)

No, 2nd in command takes over that inquisitor's role and gets all his adepts. Part of their duty is to literally train their replacement. Unless someone thinks he was a heretic in which case everyone he was in contact with that might a "corrupted" is also made go bye bye.

You are Recruited as Penitent.
Then become an Acolyte.
And if you reach lvl 30 you become a Proven Acolyte.

So No.
At least for Now. We are very very VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY Far away from Becoming Inquisitors.

In Fact we are not even becoming Throne Agents yet.
So we are not even at a level where we would be in the Pool of People that could become Candidates for being an Apprentice Inquisitor.

We will See where the Game goes when Fatshark Progresses the Storyline.
Until then we wont Know.
Its still Pre Release Beta.
So its not like we know the Full Story yet.

Is not entire true...Inquisitor can train anyone prove worth as an aprendice...Working for inquisiton get high change be recommend by you inquisitor himself if you be worth of that task. After Proven Acolyte we get "Trusted Acolyte - Often given positions of responsibility, such as running an Inquisitor's facilities while they are away or operating in long-term undercover operations" and then "Throne Agent - The most trusted members of an Inquisitor's retinue, Throne Agents have ascended to join the ranks of the Inquisition itself, and have both power and responsibility accordingly" https://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Acolyte ...so YES is long walk but is possible get there.

Not really, it's more that there's so many humans that life is almost meaningless, so the toughest rise to the top. Consider how few convicts actually made it off the ship, and how many simply died in their first mission. We are the 1% of the 1% of the 1%, and still we are nobodies really, that's how many humans there are.

Man, Zola's shoulder must have a permanent hole from all the times she has to go back to the prison ship and pin herself to a crate to get new recruits one at a time.

If we'd show outstanding investigative skill, we might get a shot in a 100 or so years, after a stint as teamleader and Acolytes for a few decades. Chances we survive that long are quite slim.
