PLEASE add Ratlings to the game.

Small target, big gun, expert snipers who are also Space Skaven? Where do I sign up? xD

I wanna see them as a playable class, ,and hear the commentary between them and the other races at least:

Ratling: "Look-look at all this wasted meat! Spoiled! Rotten! Grrh!"

Ogryn: "You can stuff yer face later, you greedy squib! Just keep shooting!"

Also the idea that you naturally can take advantage of cover without crouching would be a fun variation on 'too big to find anything to take cover behind' Ogryns. Would be fun to see Ratlings having custom guns that let them shoot accurately from behind cover (some kind of weird contraption with mirrors), or even able to ride on an Ogryns' shoulder while sniping, or get thrown into combat (ala Wolverine's Fastball Special where Colossus threw him at people).

So many fun ideas come from this race. Also, I'd love to, at long last, see them in action. I used to play the tabletop version, and the closest they ever came to being represented was a single picture that didn't show them very well.

EDIT: I found this article that will maybe explain a bit more why in my mind, the 'Ratlings' are actual Space Skaven. https://pariedolia.weebly.com/nimh/rats-in-spaaace It looks like over time though, Games Workshop retconned the 'Nocturnal Warrior of Hrud' into being tiny humans (which I did not know about). Too bad, really.

ratlings aren't skaven, they're halflings

I mean technically the setting explodes and they go to a different setting entirely through chaos nonsense so it can be argued that as far as the old world is concerned they're as extinct as everything else

Warhammer fantasy has nothing to do with 40k canonically

Skaven dont exist in 40k

Nah, Skaven exist. If you had said, 'They haven't been found yet in the universe', then fine. But they exist. Somewhere.

Maybe Games Workshop hasn't seen fit to make them playable or anything, but they're somewhere. I sincerely doubt even *they* would claim they don't exist on some planet somewhere in the universe!

Besides which? Don't care. xD Ratlings are Skaven Jezzailers in the 40k universe. Refuse to see or think of them as anything else! I mean, even YOU know that's why they call them 'Ratlings', right?

Well if that makes you happy there's always the fan theory that Warhammer Battle happens on a lost world inside the Eye of Terror. So they could maybe exist there.
As for Skavens working with the imperium, no shot. Filthy corrupted Xenos, could hardly think of more exterminable combo.
