Does the Demolition Team feat actually work?

It says 8% chance for everyone in coherency to get a free grenade on Enemy Kill but it does not seem to trigger at all.

So far my friends did not report seeing it, but I guess I could go in to the psycharium and test for myself too

its bugged i have not restored a single grenade in a few full runs.
