Discord streaming black screen issue

as the name suggests, i've got an issue with streaming my game to discord. the issue is when i start streaming people can see my game for a split second and then the screen goes black, the cursor remains but people watching the stream can't see anything. i've tried changing the game into windowed, borderless window and fullscreen, nothing works.
im hoping this is simply an issue because the game is still in beta but it's disappointing to be unable to share my gameplay with friends

the thing is, idk if it is a discord issue
as i said in the info im hoping its just because the game is still a beta

I'm having the same issue, it's defo something with the game atm cause other games work fine, had similar issues with forza not streaming years ago, for now you'll have to just stream it without audio :/

i disabled the experimental audio sharing and the thing that they say they use to share screens and then restarted it and it works now if that helps. i think its a compatability thing if that helps at all

when it's a LOCAL problem with THE GAME's relation to discord, it is relevant on both these forums and discords forums. Because discord clearly works for 99% of my games, but Darktide is one of 2 games i now can't stream on it for inexplicable reasons

please try to avoid any negativity, lets focus on the problem and find a solution, im hoping its because the game is still in beta stage but if it ends up being fully released with this issue then somethings got to be done with either discord or the developers

Having the same issue - anyone know if Darktide is using Vulkan for rendering?

My GF just fixed this issue - turn off hardware acceleration on discord. Hope that works!

it might be a driver conflict or similar for many.
Friend of mine with nearly identical hardware.
same MoBo, CPU, SSD, RAM, could stream the game just fine, but i can't.
The only major difference is that he has a 3080 ti and i have a 3070 ti.

i guess people with this issue will have to wait for the full release to see if the issue gets resolved

I saw on a reddit post that they solved the issue launching discord as administrator, will try it and tell you my own findings

I have a 3070ti as well and am having the same problem, hopefully they fix it. My wife likes to watch but I doubt it's as enjoyable without sound.
Also have tried all the workarounds I could find and none worked, sad day
