Energy Weapon Recoil

Can we not have the Las Guns and Plasma Guns have recoil please? It makes no sense.

It makes perfect sense in such a game, without recoil it become to lame and lets be honest, its pretty boring to shoot a weapon without recoil. Ahm btw there is a lasgun pattern that has build in recoil to make the soldiers stay used to it, in case the have to use other weapons, like the autogun for example. So again, it makes perfect sense ;-)

it d feel like playing return to castle of wolvenstein without recoil tbh,like im using an aimbot. and that d be a very arcade-y mechanic in a hardcore-ish survival game, where ammo might be scarce and very valuable.

or if we look from difficulty perspective, erasing everything from miles away with %100 accuracy , again would make game too easy. and ultimately bored players might leave ship early. there s actually a similiar thing mentioned by a youtuber, i think his name s Core? and i agree with him.

I understand how you'd think that laserguns don't have recoil but how do you get the idea plasma weapons have no recoil?

yeah, i can understand the complaint about a laser gun having recoil. But plasma makes sense, you are lobbing a big ass bolt of the 4 state of matter at something to rekt its ♥♥♥♥.

Lasguns do have recoil in the lore, as they are NOT necessarily 'laser' weaponry.

You are wrong. There is no reason good enough to gimp a weapon to make it more familiar to the shooter.

Plasma has mass yes but the recoil would be at most similar to a .22 LR.

look why lasguns have Recoil no one knows but it is canon that some models do, but not all so live with it or walk away from 40k because it only gets worse the more you care about the lore

I have seen this. IDK Las Guns should not have recoil there is in no way a Directed Laser Weapon can recoil with out Mass.
