When watching the trailer I don't know why they have 2 guardsman looking characters, the female and the dude seem like, just your average pew pew stabby stabby characters, they should drop one of them so that you have Ogryn, Priest, Guardsman, Techpriest instead of Ogryn, Priest, Guardsman, Guardsman 2.

Tech priest would probably be too strong if youre trying to stay true to the playing as a common guardsman thing. Id much rather have a skitarii. If the game was focused on space marines, then a priest would be more fitting imo.

exactly!!! why are people ignoring that ogryns are op they are human battle tanks and the equipment they can field is nothing short of space marine level but people here still gripe about "mah power levels!" especially on the discord at least some people who understand also skitarii, tech adepts or an enginseer would be badass inb4 someone says starts crying about how so and so cant make it on cause of "mah power levels" also skitarii are mind wiped convicts so for that guy who says "but they are all convicts!" there you go

Ogryns just punch Chaos Marines to death, they are weak and not on the same level.
I do love seeing Ork Nobz go into Melee with Terminators and just headbutt someone in tactical dreadnaught armor to death.

This is the same situation across the entire Galaxy. You have Billions of Soldier who fight every day, holding the line.

Not the Space Marines hold the Line against the Horrors of the Galaxy, it's the Guard.
They hold the line since 10k years and if they have to, they hold it another 10k years.

this games based on an imperial inquisitors retinue though, so lets be real if the guardsman are there theyre the best of the best. but is it really so far fetched to think that a tech priest might be with him. or a psyker, a blank, arbities, the possibilities for classes and specs are endless really. tempestus scions!
