Lets use some logic here(i know it's hard).
1. A great deal of Warhammer 40k usually has some unfortunate and doomed group discover the horrible enemy first. This was the obvious intent of the trailer. Ill explain even further.
2. The trailer had an injured guardsman and a very OBVIOUSLY doomed and going to die group. Why the hell would we play people already about to die? To a horde of literal hundreds?
3. What was the main image they showed with the name of the game? Did it show 4 guardsman? No. It showed 4 very different characters standing together ,Ogryn included.
4. Inquisitor retinues and squads vary immensely in their composition. This isn't some freakin Astra Militarium aka Imperial Guard strike force.
5. If the "priest" is a former Adeptus aka sister or hell maybe even a novice picked up and taken with, she makes plenty of sense.
6. Duplicates ruins the whole point of the "tide" games when it comes to character banter and personality. I am dam glad they don't allow it.
7. The composition allows for a high range of weapons and specialties. Your idea condenses it and lowers the amount of possibilities way the hell down. Why would you want that?
Go ahead and spot the difference between the trailer ogryn and the ones in the following pictures.

Took me no less than 30 seconds to find one similar to the one in the game.
Then you are pretty blind mate. Close his mouth, put a shoulder piece on him and boom they look dam similar.
There is also the fact the the in game version wouldn't look like any of the cartoony or stylized art. Nvm that Games Workshop has to approve it. So....it obviously passes. The first art you linked btw would never have a pseudo realistic version of the race look like that. Have some common sense.
That i can agree with.
