Help? I've tried to use the save editor online and failed

I have vampires dawn 1 english version or is it called vampires dawn rein of blood? anyway it is a rpg maker game and I've tried to use the save editor online that works for all rpg maker games and works with save.isd files so I've edited my saved game then saved/downloaded the file and replaced my saved game file in my game folder but strange that ingame it had no effect nothing changed money,stats and all am I doing something wrong?
