I mostly spend every game as survivor mindlessly moving from place to place and finding nothing it's so frustrating

Houses. Check the tent closest to the car, it has a warm yellow light to the left or right of spawn, it'll have tires sometimes. Other than that, the barn or sometimes on the road close to the wooden signs.

The Farm and the tents usually have the tires, but they can sometimes spawn under trail lights.

every item can be found randomly there is no set spot for anything otherwise people would be finishing matches too quickly, this game is about wits stealth aggression and patience.

Every spot is selected at random, from a list of pre-determed spots. So a tire may spawn in the tent or under the street light, but it also might not. However once you know all the spots, it makes looking for the parts much faster.

My biggest tip, use the wooden signs if you get lost easily.
