Known Issues (Crashes, Stuck on loading, Vivox etc...)

1) Vivox Login Error

- This error usually means that your clock is out of sync with the game time.
Set your Windows clock to automatic, sync the time zone and it should resolve the problem.

- Another player using your steam nickname and playing In Silence

- Your steam nickname has a space. For example, your nickname is "Test 1234", you have to remove space and it should be "Test1234". This is an issue and we gonna fix it soon

2) Crashing Suddenly

- Probably your cpu or i3 or lower or you have a memory problem. Check your task manager and close other programs.

- Don't turn off Vsync

- Disable any third-party tool you have installed on your PC along with Steam overlay and GeForce Experience overlay.

- Open Nvidia Control Panel > Manage 3D Settings > Program Settings > select the game. Turn on “Max FPS Limit” and set the value to 30. This will lock the game at 30 FPS, reducing GPU load and the game will stop crashing randomly.

3) Stuck on loading screen

- If you are using VPN, you have to disable it

- Proxy Servers should be turned off

- Make sure that your antivirus program and the Windows Firewall protection isn’t blocking the game.

- If you are using big network(like school), its firewall will block our game

- Try your phone's internet connection

4) Crash at Startup

- The game doesn’t officially support Windows 7 and 8. If you want to play the game then you need to upgrade your OS to Windows 10.

- Right-click the game’s exe > Properties > Compatibility tab > check “Run This program as administrator” and hit apply.

- Your anti-virus/Windows Security might be blocking important games files. Either disable real-time protection or exclude the game’s install folder from it. After that, verify game files and the issue will be fixed.

- Could be missing Visual C++ Redistributables. Go your Steam Library > right-click In Silence> properties > Local Files tab > click “Browse Local Files”. Launch the game directly from the game’s exe and if you get an error similar to “vcruntime140_1.dll Was Not Found”, players need to install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables both x86 and x64 versions.

5) Mic not working

- According to players, their mic stops working randomly while playing In Silence. This is a bug and we are aware of it. While it gets fixed, players can work around this issue by switching to the Windowed mode or restart the game

- "Hello devs, I think I found out the mic problem. It is because the windows 10 settings. If I'm playing on a laptop that has built-in mic, while I'm also using a headphone with a mic, choosing realtek audio...etc in the game setting will not activate my headphone mic and I cannot use voice chat or it will be random and bugged. But if I set to default device in the game setting then I can use my headphone mic normally without any problem.

6) Disabled Multiplayer button

I have no problem loading into the home menu and lobbies. But anytime someone starts a game it will crash. I have yet to be able to play a single match. This is the only game I have had problems with.

none of them fixed the issue for me with the voice chat error

To fix voice error and loading screen go to setting then make sure ur time zone is on automatic then sync the time zone and that should fix loading screen and voice error

there is a new problem with game launching. i gifted my friend this game and whenever he goes to open it{in any of the crash tips already listed} it opens in a different screen than its supposed to and it only goes halfway. we are streamers trying to hype up the game but cant do that if the game does not even work please help!!!!

After a few minutes in game my Character starts to keep moving forward and wont stop, with no keys pressed. Anyone else getting this?

I'm using autohot keys to rebind everything, works great at first, then I cant keep still :(

This only seems to happen in Multiplayer, I cant recreate it in Singleplayer

I don't know if this is where bugs are reported, but as the monster I got stuck in the water tower outside the barn after I sprinted into it a jumped. I got stuck just under the water container.
