Why is this game dead?

W/E I tried this gane and did not enjoy it anyways, no match-making, you have to enter rooms or create one and wait for people to join, its ok the first few times but it quickly gets boring, same map, same killer, same way to die...eh

+ more competitive
+ Better UI/Textures/quality
+ A lot of characters and killer and a perk system giving progression
+ Matchmaking

The only thing this game has better than dbd is probably for being new and a better/more scary system but it's too incomplete

Well, if you wanna give pointers, you should also consider that. Dead by Daylight has had 4 years of development AND is not in early access.
And as far as I can tell 4 of the characters are taken from other movies and games, so they are unoriginal.
Keep in mind that when Dead by daylight was released there were only three killers. This game is in early access, and the current monster is quite well made. Yes, it does have its flaws, but give this game some time, and it could become really good.
It all depends on what direction the devs take this game.

I'm not sure it's fair to compare this game to a game that has had almost 4 1/2 years of development and improvement like Dbd. Sure, the similarities are there, but this game shouldn't be seen as the cheap variant of Dbd. If anything, it's pretty much it's own game.

first dbd is not cheap its still like 60 bucks on steam and its still in beta and i think its doing really good for beta and that if you hate on a game that's still in beta that's not nice to the creators cause it could discourage them and they stop updating the game. and comparing this game to a game that has had over 4 years of development and updates is just dumb.

Can't play with your friend in match making, cant kick hackers/toxic players, etc.

Graphics are not better in dbd

Killers in dbd are weak, and wrecked by pallets. The ones that arent weak are just OP baby sitters.

dbd has to be what 4 years old now? Yes it has content, but its also horribly balanced/

You answered your own topic question in your response posts, iow this is just a thinly veiled thread you made to ♥♥♥♥ on the game. As for why it's dead, for me personally it's just that there isn't forced incentive to keep playing, and I've already 100%'d the achievements and my steam library is chock full of games I haven't 100%'d. The only games I spend large drawn out spans of time on are games with lots of depth like rpgs or games that force you to do bs like weekly challenges to efficiently acrue artificial progression/cosmetics (see; DBD).

*facepalms* Dbd community... Just have to attack every other asymmetrical game available and be as obvious about it as always, even when it only slightly rises against ther 4 year old insanely unbalanced buggy as hell pile of mess..

No matter how much they instantly use pointers that make them stick ther own foot in ther mouths by comparing said 4 year old insanely unbalanced buggy mess to a brand new product in ea... Fair point not at all..
