no, the rake is only op against noobs. good survivors will kill it easily.
i even 1v1 the monster most games.
(That said, I've watched friends play and this game is a LOT darker on their machines than it is, mine. I can see just fine at night without any modifications to my machine to allow this. I just have a bright LG monitor)
Stop moving, if you need to move to an area, crouch and do not have a sensitive mic. Use T for the pebble so you can gain further distance. Once you are safe, hide for a smidge, and make sure he went away before you move.
The game is fun, and I've only played with friends, but even with the survivors nerfed and the Rake buffed to max, most matches ended with barely 2 dead.
I've played three rounds now, twice as Rake, once as Survivor, and I've requested a refund.
It's boring. It's boring, and squinting at the screen isn't fun. Plus you can't "enjoy" the game by talking or freaking out and having a laugh. That works against you.
And then survivors got away in the car, but the game kept going. I "assume" there was another survivor but **** if I could find them.
One dead player was a mouse making noise to distract me, which is a mechanic i question heavily.
Ravens kept spawning and cawing. More game distractions.
Eventually I just started running around in a circle hoping someone with a shotgun showed up to shoot me so it could end.
