It says it's verified on deck, but I've just tried it and it keeps crashing.

The very first screen, where it asks for a name requires you invoke the on screen keyboard to hit enter, and I've only been able to get a few sentences into the thing before it stops responding for me. I'm going to mess with different versions of Proton some and will post if I get better results.

It works fine If you use the Keyboard wasd and Mouse Setup instead of Controller Layout. Change the Layout in the Steam Deck and it works.

Whole game works fine on deck for me but I am having a problem saving on the screen that I'm supposed to in able to transfer my save to the second game. The keyboard auto comes up to fill in a name for the save but hitting the enter key doesn't save and makes the screen progress without making the save and I haven't been able to find a way to make a save compatible with the second game.

I have the same issue, and Cloud Saving with RenPy really seems to be generally bad, therefore it cannot be transferred to PC to complete there and start.
I checked with a docking station and mouse and keyboard and still <enter> did not register, nor could mouse be used due to the steamdeck keyboard overlay.

Wish this would be fixed.

What worked, was cleaned up savegames on the PC and reinstall. Then load the cloudsave on PC and complete the game, from my last save and I was able to load it in Week 2, make a save (or three) and was able to load those in Week 2 on the SteamDeck.
