Theoretically singleplayer could work someday with some modifications, but I don't have the bandwidth in the workload nor have planned any work to ensure everything works correctly in that context. So no promises as of yet. I can see the appeal, but it's not a priority at the moment or something I'm really looking into.
Jurassic World Evolution
Ark: Survival Evolved
The Isle (Not sure if single player and it is pvp. As with any pvp game, full of gankers and griefers, but kind of fun if you get a low pop server)
None of these are even similar to this game.
And this game is an MMO so it will have plenty of griefers and hackers, it's really a shame that it's not single player or coop.
@TimberWolf/Space Titan: There's no official single player mode per se, but nothing will stop you from hosting your own dedicated server. Playing alone is trivial in those cases, as you can just host the dedicated server on your local machine and connect to it (this is exactly how I do a lot of my development testing). You can also put a password on your local server so only your friends can join your private session, though you might also have to do a bit of port forwarding.
It's less convenient than a listen server set-up where you could just press "host", but it's totally possible to play alone or with friends with your own dedicated server.
Where are you getting the "lack of A.I." from?
There's AI to prey on :)
Saurian for your single player Dino needs.
This game looks great for multiplayer with AI included. Saurian provides a very decent single player in a living world experience.
Although it is wolves and not dinos, I enjoy WolfQuest.
